"Navie"

"Navie" was our foundation and the dog of my heart. As well as being a Specialty Best in Show winner, he was also the Best of Breed winner at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show at Madison Square Garden in 1994. He was bred 19 times and has produced 38 champions and counting.

One reason he was well used as a stud dog was that he was so impressive and incredible to be with; virtually everyone who ever traveled to shows with us eventually bred to him.

When Navie died, a little part of me went with him. I am so thankful to have his wonderful children and grandchildren to continue his legacy.

Phoenix continued his father's legacy nicely here at Kyrov. He is a multiple Specialty Best in Show winner (3). He was fun to show because everytime he stepped into the ring I knew he was a contender. He won the breed or an Award of Merit at virtually every specialty he went to, including 3 national specialties.

In 1997 Phoenix won the Stud Dog class at the national specialty with the largest entry in the history of the breed. Though he was not bred as many times as Crescendo, the quality of his get is unmistakable. Most of our current breeding stock is a direct descendant of Phoenix.

[ pedigree ]

"Valimir" is a Phoenix son and a Crescendo grandson. In 2002, Valimir was the Number 1 dog in the country (Breed System) and the Pedigree Award Winner for that year. In his first few litters he has continued the strong tradition of superior producing capabilities of the Kyrov males. He is a multiple champion producer, and his son was Best in Sweeps at the National Specialty in 2003.
